WHAT IS A DERMAL FILLER?

Dermal Filler is a gel like substance made from hyaluronic acid that is injected under the skin to replace volume that has been lost due to ageing or to enhance existing features.

The hyaluronic acid in Dermal Filler attracts water increasing hydration in the area it is used.

Dermal Fillers can be used to soften the appearance of wrinkles which form when the fatty pads in the face have decreased.

They can also be used in the lips to add hydration, volume and shape.

Dermal Fillers can last between 6-14 months depending on your lifestyle and metabolism.

Dermal Fillers and Smooth Line Treatments all carried out by a fully qualified and insured Dental Hygiene Therapist/Aesthetics Practitioner who is fully trained and equipped to deal with medical emergencies in the unlikely event one should occur.
